Where is Sequim, Washington And because all Moving There?
The small town of Sequim, Washington sits on Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest almost directly across the water of Vancouver Island, Canada. The ambiance of this Dungeness Valley paradise could never be described in words. However, I will try to do it in hopes that they might discover what thousands of visitors each year already know. Rafting, skiing (both snow and water) and visit the city in general.
Entering the Sequim from the East, one is immediately struck by the majestic mountain range to the south and the breathtaking view of the water coming from the north. You might also notice the subtle change in cloud cover as you drive into the valley. This is because Sequim is the driest place in Western Washington, getting an average of just 18 "of rain per year. However, there is just enough of a mix of rain and sun to keep the city and surrounding neighborhoods lush and green throughout the 'years in practice.
The natural disposition and location of Sequim allows eclectic variety of outdoor activities. The surrounding area offers a haven of fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, nature walks,
Every year in July, 35,000 visitors from around the world come to celebrate the annual Sequim Lavender Festival.
15 miles west and you find yourself in the historic city of Port Angeles. This port city also offers a ferry to Victoria, Canada. Continue West and you can visit the natural hot springs and the Hoh Rain Forest.
We invite you to visit the Sequim Valley and the surrounding area and experience what visitors and residents have already discovered.
This area is not only a beautiful place to visit, but it is also a great place to live! ......
