Using pictures in Presentation

What about using graphic if your PowerPoint presentation? Does it make sense? I'm sure you've heard something like "our graphics will make your presentation looks professional" or "make alive", but you still need to understand why to use or not use graphics in your presentation.

The first fact is that pictures are easier for visual perception of the text, but the images do not contain as much as the text will. So, use pictures to add some 'life to your presentation, focus on key concepts and ideas.

Second fact, taking pictures in the slideshow is a good way to distinguish between slides. People will remember more if you have a visual image of what you are talking about right now.

Thirdly, in fact, if what the presentation look professional, then there is no need to fill it with hundreds of photos. And 'wound be sufficient to add a corporate logo, it is sometimes necessary to add more pictures, but ... keep things simple. Remember, people may need to access your presentation from the web presentation and the size must not be greater than 60 minutes of high quality video.

What about using graphics libraries? If you plan to use some free clip art, then it will not reach the goal for the presentation to look like a professional. People used these arts clip thousands of times and know where you got these pictures from. The good idea is to buy a package ready to use images of the presentation or ask company designer to prepare some images for presentation.

What about using animations, movies and so on in your presentation? Well, it's a good idea to put the video in vivid presentation, but remember that it may be difficult to obtain and maintain all of this online presentation formats and file properly.

The general question - should be animated presentation in any way? For example, PowerPoint lets you design your slides step by step - first draw the title, then represent one after another few key phrases. This is great idea as people will listen to you carefully follow your ideas, but again, it will not be able to make the presentation will be on-line properly with all the steps you plan.

The recommendation is simple - use graphics in your presentation. It 'a very good idea to make it look professional, but the graphics do not do the job for you.

Images that work! I speak of graphs and diagrams. People are willing to take a look at the statistics. Statistics is what makes people crazy about everything, so if you have any statistics, then add it to your presentation. Tell us about your sales in the past, future and planned. Shows not only the numbers in the text, but on paper. Name the table as a result - not to say "The number of table ...", say what this chart says: "The growth in sales over the past two years was not what we were looking for."

Just as professional presentation look like? May have some pictures, but the author focuses on clear supporting them with characters and plots. This is the key to successful presentation .......
