As an Autoresponder puts your business on autopilot
Winning the lottery is easy to build an online business is not valid. I know, I know, I just broke the "Code Guru" because I gave away the dirty little secret.
It's hard.
But there are tools available that are transformed in terms of time activities in no-brainers. An autoresponder is one of those tools and I plan to show how an autoresponder correctly can put your business on autopilot.
But first, just to make sure we are all on the same page ...
An autoresponder, quite simply, is an e-mail that responds automatically when someone sends an e-mail to this address. You send an e-mail to an address certain, and after a few minutes you will receive a response. Automatically. No humans are involved in the process at all. An autoresponder sequence goes a step further - sends a series of email messages based on predetermined. Perhaps one every two days, once a week, etc.
And you will not believe this, but it is a very powerful force to be used with your business. Let me give you an example ...
Do a hot-shot marketing and have a sales page conversion to 5% (which is a huge conversion rate in case you did not know). This means that 5 out of 100 people who come to your page to purchase the product. Yeehaw!
Oh, but wait, that also means 95 out of 100 people that come to your page NOT to buy. They just go away and you do not see them anymore.
This is where an autoresponder can save the day. Because if you set it up properly you will end up getting some sales by 95% who do not buy now.
If you are selling blue widgets are the people in your page are obviously interested in widgets, so that if you put together a special report called "The Top 10 Widgets ways can make you rich." And then, that offer free people who come to your website. All you have to do is give their name and email address and we give them the relationship ...
... And all the information on widgets, blue ones, in particular.
The prospect signs for the list, get the report, and then your autoresponder takes over. You put a series of autoresponder emails and once or twice a week an e-mail of new blue widgets will be sent to the prospect. I'll give you tips and tricks on how to use blue widgets, and then give them another opportunity to buy.
What you have is a way to continue the sales process, even after the prospect leaves the website! You can share with their testimonials that show how other people have profited after buying your blue widgets, etc.
And you can continue to share the love of blue widgets with them until they decide to buy - or you decide to get off your list. And as long as you continue to send their information compelling and interesting blue widgets, they'll stick around and listen to your footsteps, soft or hard.
This means that when you are ready to promote a product (be it the product or if you are acting as an affiliate), you should not "throw the switch" to obtain a series of autoresponder messages loaded into your autoresponder and ready to go. And, you will need a special report or some other "seduction" to convince them to join your list - says "Pretty Please" does not work so well online.
We all want the kind of business where money rolls in while drinking fruity drinks in coconuts on the beach. We want the "autopilot" business everyone is talking about.
An autoresponder messages that are still full of the sales process is one of the greatest ways to make it can happen. And if you are promoting your product or the product of someone as an affiliate, a series of autoresponder messages can help you build your list and make additional sales at the same time .......
