The marketing approach is the least expensive rifle. Companies that choose this approach are able to select the target market (niche group). Develop a convincing message to address the public is the next step. In some circles, this is 'Direct Marketing'.
Identify lifestyle of the target market and demographics of the markets for the company. The target market would consist of the following elements:
* The Women
* Men
* The Professionals
* The Housewives
* Middle-class
* Upper-class
* Age groups
You get the idea. Of course, not every niche groups, suitable for any industry.
Addressing your market
To target your niche group, begins with the identification of resources that can provide the path to the destination for your message.
* Print advertising
* Direct mail
* E-mail marketing
* TV or radio
* Website
Take time to research journals that specialize in your industry. The Internet also offers a variety of resources to hunt down and analyze your target market. Resources such as these can give you new ideas for effective direct marketing techniques.
Beyond Direct Mail: What other vices are there?
There are other tools implemented to drum up business. Of course, what you use and how you use relies heavily on the industry your in. For example, a seller would put a flag outside of his / her office to draw up business. But a fitness professional can find a banner outside the club works wonderfully.
You must find the commercial materials that work best for you. Here are some suggestions:
* Banners promoting events
* Product freebies such as video and CD
* Accessories with your logo (mug of coffee, notebook, pen, etc.)

Be open to collaborate with other institutions that offer services or products similar but not identical, is a great way to create business for both. Again, this depends on your industry. The best example is the mixture of CPA and accounting.
