My Reflection From the book Lyotard and the Inhuman: Artificial Intelligence vs. Human Intelligence and Artificial Life Vs Life

In several chapters of the book Lyotard and inhuman, is concerned about the development of AI-IA-at the expense of human intelligence-IH-promoted by technocrats and driven by advanced capitalism. This advance in artificial intelligence hides the creation of artificial life-VA-in order to colonize and to replace the biological life on the planet. Lyotard anticipates expanding this aspect and colonizer of artificial intelligence systems on human life and intuits the devastating effects of the development of artificial life-VA-biological systems on the planet.

Why Lyotard fears the development of intelligence and artificial life? For Lyotard, the exponential development of artificial intelligence systems is a serious threat to the survival of our species and the planet's biological systems. Direct competition for natural resources would lead to open conflict with the technological systems and artificial life. A conflict of this size have serious consequences for humanity and for life as we know it. Could face a mass extinction of the human species as a result of this dispute for supremacy in the access and control of resources between the two forms of life.

Lyotard fears grow with advances in technology systems capacity to self-organize and self-directed learning without the support of human intelligence. In a few decades can be an emergent property of artificial systems and thus the emancipation of the control technology of human intelligence. The development of these skills of self-organization and self-direction is being tested successfully in the Net: Internet. How it has been the development of these capabilities in the machines? Why? It is the result of our dependence on technology to organize society. Delegate our responsibility to artificial intelligence systems to the point of becoming their slaves. Our relationship had always been marked by the control technology. We have lost this ability to control technological systems. Now it is they who have control of the relationship. Loss of control is a symptom of the delegation of power in the technology. We are not able to establish boundaries between technology and ourselves.
